About The Artist

Rosalyn Raymont

Born and raised in beautiful Ontario, Canada, I have been blessed with a loving and supportive family, including my husband, four children, and three grandchildren.

From an early age, I have always had a passion for expressing myself creatively. I graduated from St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology with a diploma in Commercial Art. My studies have provided me with many opportunities to grow and evolve in my artistic journey.

Always eager for new adventures, I lived in Russia for a year, where I was deeply inspired by the dramatic nature of Russian architecture and art. I began my professional career as a graphic designer, specializing in the beverage industry – in particular, winery marketing and branding.

Most recently, I have set my creative focus on abstract art, which has helped reenergize my artistic vision, direction, and passion. As I pursue and explore this chapter of my journey, I am guided by the words of the great Vincent van Gogh: “One must work and dare if one really wants to live.”

Special Merit

I'm so honored to receive a Special Merit award in the 2024 Artist's Choice Competition!

Having my work featured in the Fall 2024 issue of Art and Color 365 magazine and their online exhibition is such a meaningful moment for me.

I'm incredibly grateful to be part of this inspiring community of artists and thankful for the opportunity to share my work in this way.
